Welcome to this wonderful team of girls who are often singled out by other coaches, teachers, and visitors as a nice and caring group, both on and off the courts.  Academically, they carry high grade point averages, have been National Merit Scholars, and have been awarded 4-year scholarships to their universites.  This season promises to continue that pattern.

High School Physicals Night- May 23, 2012

Once again Mt. Carmel will be offering physicals for our athletes on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 6 to 8:30 pm.  These physicals are valid for one Calendar year.  Please download the Ticket-to-Play paperwork** from the www.sundevilathletics.com website.  Have the forms COMPLETELY FILLED IN WITH PARENT AND STUDENT SIGNATURES AND BRING THEM WITH YOU THAT EVENING. The cost is $20 and anyone who prepays will get in the EXRESS Line.  See Mrs. Uribe in the Athletic Director's office.  If you have just recently completed your annual physical with your doctor, call his/her office and have them fill out your form.

Annual Awards Banquet May 30, 2012

The Annual Athletic Awards Banquet is scheduled for Wednesday, May 30th at 6 pm.  All of the sports teams will be present.  Please come and support your teammates who have been nominated for scholarships and athlete of the year awards!  REMEMBER:  It's great to be a SUNDEVIL!

**Ticket to Play requirement

Our practices begin two weeks before school starts (in August). You MUST have a current Ticket–to-Play in the Athletic Director’s office to practice.  The ticket-to-Play is a document that has 11 pages requiring: parent signatures, student signatures and a physician's signature.  It can be downloaded from the Sundevil athletic website.  If you would rather see your personal physician, please take your Ticket-to-Play paperwork.  He/She will sign the forms, your parent will sign and you will sign and return the packet to Mrs. Uribe in the Athletic Department.  The packet contains 11 pages!  Return all 11 pages please or you will not be allowed on the courts.

No TICKET-no practice-NO EXCEPTIONS-PER the POWAY Unified School District.
