The Crossbones Cross Country teams were crowned the Runner Up Champions out of 9 schools at the Greensburg Invitational! 

The Lady Pirates were 2nd and just 5 points shy of defeating the defending champions Columbus Northside.  Bailey Meyer, Ashlynn Meyer, Haleigh Reed, and Cameron Jones were all medalists in the event by placing within the top 15.  Shanda Workman and Mary Kate Porter concluded their career as Junior High harriers with the fastest times they have ever ran on their home course.  All the ladies finished a great season with a succesful final meet.

The boys team also placed 2nd at the Invite against some great competitors.  Peyton Buening, Logan Moody, and Jared Hasselbring all earned medals for finishing among the top 15 boys.  Peyton, Logan, and Keegan McCullough all completed their Junior High career running faster at home than they ever have on the course in the past.  All the gentleman put forth great effort to conclude an amazing season.

Thank you to all our parents and fans for all your help and support.  Our success this season depended greatly on everything you did.  You all were very instrumental in the incredible accomplishments the Crossbones Cross Country teams achieved in 2011.
