Cards lose a heartbreaker:
The OC Cardinals suffered a tough loss this past Sunday against the #1 team, the Braves. However, a highlight in the afternoon game was RHP Tyler McLaughlin. "Big Red" was solid as usual on the hill, making hitters look off-balance against him. McLaughlin went 3 innings in relief, scattering 3 hits, striking out 2 and walking none. Through 5 games this season, McLaughlin owns a 1.00 ERA and is holding opposing hitters to a batting average of .235.
