Two games in 17 hours was not a good recipe for the Railer Express. We came out a little flat, missing passes, coughing up some costly giveaways early and unable to finish offensively dropping a 3-1 decision to the Raiders.

The first was delayed a little with a pane of rink glass shattering before the game, shortening our warm up. The Raiders took advantage of some miscues defensively and in a span of 2 minutes in the first period scored 3 goals which was all they needed for the victory. Todoruk managed to squeeze one goal in amongst theirs but that was all we could get behind the Raiders goaltender. 

Even outshooting our opponents 35-23 for the game, including 12-3 in the thrid period th finish just wasn't there.

Next home game is Sunday Dec 12th at 12:45pm at East End Arena in a rematch with the Raiders.
