Railer Express Annual 2024 Golf Tourney - May 31, 2024
On a windy and rare dry day, 140 golfers were treated to some unbelievable food and a great course, while the golfers weren’t that bad either. Thanks to all that came out and supported the Railer Express Golf Tournament this year. Our hole sponsors who always step up: Dals, Grade A, Connlley Signs, Oakley Alarms, Goodfellow Realty, Bond Printing, Fusion Flooring, TMHA, Noble Locksmith, Circle K (Main Street), MOWCOE and Councillor Wyatt.
Some big winners in the silent auction with Mymko doubling down, D. Silvaggio scooping up the Bud Lite fridge and Pano winning bacon for a year courtesy of Maple Leaf. S.Chambers took in the big haul with a cool $1000 on the 50/50. Van Den Bussche Jr team took home best dressed with Bruchanski in a tight second.
M. Todoruk's team posted the score of the day while Nathan Turner turned in the Closest to the Hole Ladies by mistake and Team MOWECO won the putting challenge.
Huge shoutout to our volunteers: George and Ashley, Becky, Ainsley and Margaret, Jodi, Tracy and Skinny. Thank you to the staff at Rossmere and hopefully next year I get a breakfast wrap which were the hit of the day.

23-24 Season comes to an end!
Railer Express season is officially over as the 1st place Canucks swept us in the 1st round of playoffs.
This was an interesting season where a couple wins could vault you up 3 or 4 positions in standing and drop you just as quickly. We competed with all teams but were not consistent enough to advance further. With only 1 veteran aging out we look well placed to go into next season.
The Transcona Major Jr Hockey club wishes to thank all the families, fans and supporters who came out all year to cheer us on, to the many sponsors whose support has enabled us to provide a quality affordable program for the players and community to be proud of, and of course, the players and coaches for their commitment and hard work all season.
We look forward to September 2024 and the start of a new season. Go Express Go!
Railer Express Sportsman Dinner a huge success!
A full house at Canad Inns Transcona enjoyed a great hotstove event with our very own Philly from 92 FM moderating great conversation with two time Grey Cup champs Nik Demski and Pat Neufeld. Both had some interesting comments and shared many of the insights into the Bombers success and success as athletes.
A huge thank you to Philly and our two Winnipeg Blue Bombers The Transcona Railer Express also want to thank the many businesses, and guests who attended to make this night so great.
Your attendance and support is what makes our program possible. Thank you all.
